Speed dating is an informal way to meet and talk to sometimes dozens of singles. The way it works is that each single signs up with a speed dating service and gives them basic information such as your name, age, sex and email address. All the singles meet at a pub or nice club where there are chairs and tables set up. All the women sit at one place for the entire speed date and men move from table to table meeting each of the ladies every few minutes. The end result is that each person has an opportunity to sit and talk to everyone of the opposite sex for at least a few minutes.

Everyone has a sheet of paper, if they enjoyed talking with the other person they mark the person down as a match, if they don’t, they mark down that they don’t want to meet the other person.
